The Mission of European Research Council (ERC) is to encourage quality research in Europe through competitive funding and support research in every field, based on excellence. This week is one of the initiatives that make part of a larger strategy to increase UA community’s awareness and success regarding the available opportunities within ERC. It includes a general info session and a 2-day hands-on activities.

To whom? – This session is open to all UA researchers in any career stage and will be particularly helpful to early-career and mid-career participants, especially graduate students, post-docs, researchers, and faculty thinking about applying for funding to conduct research in Europe.

14:30- 16:30 - Workshop: The Scientific Proposal – analysis of a granted proposal (workshop setting)

- To whom?- These sessions are directed to UA researchers that are considering to present an application in the next 2 year period.

16:45-17:30 - Individual Appointments
- Model: One-to-one appointments for presenting in more detail the idea and CV and get some 1:1 feedforward/ comments.
- To whom? This session is directed to UA researchers that will present an application in the frame of the work programmes 2019/2020 ( AdG, Syn, StG, Cog) . It is expected that the participants present a 5-minute pitch of ERC research idea and a detailed CV (templates will be provided in advance) ( detailed CV to be handled by Feb 14)
